About the role
Key Responsibilities: Answer telephone, provide information to callers, take and relay messages. Scheduling appointments using our designated software. Informing the veterinarian on duty of any emergencies that require urgent attention. Issuing invoices for treatment and prescribed medication after each consultation. Receiving and verifying payments after each consultation. Monitoring the inventory of pet shop items by the practice and restocking these, as needed. Ensuring the availability of all clinical supplies (medicines, operating supplies, and cleaning supplies). Overseeing the sale of items stocked by the practice. Interact with clients and coordinates communication between doctors, assistant, and clients. Schedule appointments. Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically. Provide general administrative and clerical support. Tidy and maintain the reception area.
